Kenzi Hotels Group Sustainability Policy

A continuous improvement approach in service of environmental and social impact

The hotels of the Kenzi Group are committed to a continuous improvement approach aimed at optimizing the environmental and social impact of their activities. Aware of the role played by the hospitality sector in preserving natural resources and in supporting territorial development, Kenzi Hotels establishments have progressively implemented responsible management practices integrating the environmental, social and economic dimensions of sustainable development.

REDUCTION OF ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT
In this perspective, Kenzi Hotels is working towards the progressive reduction of its environmental footprint, notably through the optimization of energy and water consumption, the improvement of waste management, and the gradual integration of more sustainable energy solutions. Several concrete actions have already been undertaken, such as the 100% deployment of intelligent lighting, the optimization of heating and air conditioning systems, the use of alternative energy solutions such as biomass for heat production in certain establishments, allowing to cover approximately 60% of thermal needs while reducing reliance on fossil fuels, and finally, the installation of solar thermal systems dedicated to domestic hot water production.
Beyond these actions, the Kenzi Hotels Group has set a strategic objective by 2030 aimed at significantly reducing its carbon footprint, particularly that related to energy consumption, water use and waste management. In this perspective, several initiatives are currently planned, notably the progressive deployment of photovoltaic systems enabling the production of renewable electricity within the establishments.

SUSTAINABLE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
The hotels of the Kenzi Group also pay particular attention to the protection of the local environment and to the preservation of the ecosystems in which they operate. Measures are implemented to limit the impact of hotel activities on natural environments, notably through a rational management of water for the irrigation of green areas, the installation of water-saving equipment, and the progressive implementation of waste sorting and recovery systems.

COMMITMENT TO LOCAL COMMUNITIES AND EMPLOYEES:
The Group’s establishments are also committed to collaborating with regional suppliers and to actively contributing to the development of local communities. In this regard, they prioritize local employment by mobilizing available skills in the labor market, as well as supporting and developing competencies through the implementation of career advancement opportunities and continuous training programs totaling nearly one thousand hours of training in 2025.
In order to structure this talent development policy, the Group has established its own Kenzi Academy, dedicated to training and skills development in hospitality professions. This dynamic training platform, developed in partnership with vocational training authorities and international organizations, aims to train young talents and to strengthen employees’ skills in key areas of the hospitality sector such as revenue management, marketing, front office, food and beverage, and housekeeping.

RESPECT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AND CHILD PROTECTION
Furthermore, Kenzi Hotels establishments ensure compliance with fundamental principles relating to human rights and working conditions. The Group is committed to promoting values of well-being, ensuring a fair and inclusive working environment, in which each employee benefits from socially responsible management and professional development opportunities.
Child protection and well-being also constitute a priority for the Group. The establishments implement a vigilance policy aimed at preventing any form of exploitation or abuse, by encouraging staff to report any suspicious situation to the competent authorities in accordance with the applicable regulations.

CUSTOMER PARTICIPATION
The hotels encourage their guests to adhere to the sustainability policy by adopting responsible behaviors in terms of consumption, water and energy saving, waste reduction, and respect for the local environment.
In a continuous improvement approach, the Kenzi Hotels Group will continue to deploy new environmental and social initiatives in order to strengthen the sustainability of its activities and to contribute to the development of Sustainable and Eco-responsible Tourism.
